UISD names David R. Canales Principal for United South High School. Canales was Principal at United Middle School since 2007. He taught Physical Science and Physics at United South High School between 1990 and 1992.

ReplyDeleteAs a former student I can say that Mrs. Wilson was a good principal and I'm glad I got to graduate during her tenure.
ReplyDeleteMr. Canales has big shoes to fill, but I know that bringing in someone from the outside will improve things, especially with such a good track record and credentials.
I am a United Middle School parent. I will be very sorry to loose Mr. Canales as will the teachers I am sure. He did a great job at UMS and will be missed.

Mr. Canales is not a big fan of "tradition". He has entered USHS and ruined all of the previous traditions that were established during Mrs. Wilsons tenure. The school is not only extremely boring now but due to that fact attendance is going down and many more fights have been generated.
