Stimulate Laredo! City to get $48 million

The city of Laredo will receive a stimulus grant of over 48-million dollars. The multi-million dollar grant was awarded by the Texas Water Development Board as part of the American Recovery Reinvestment Act of 2009. Laredo city officials will use the grant to improve the Jefferson Water Treatment Plant.
