Jose Estrada, Jr. was indicted in court early this week for once count of reckless driving and eight counts of child injury to a child.
Estrada allegedly pulled a teenager with down syndrome and punched him in the face. District Attorney Isidro Alaniz intends on prosecutng Estrada to fullest extent of the law.
"It's particularly disturbing because it involves someone who is defenseless. Not only is it worse that you're injuring a child, but a child with special needs." Alaniz says.

This child also is non-verbal. Two years ago this same little boy came home from school with a broken hip. The district told the mother that the bus had no tape, so no one was charged with anything. The school district did not call CPS within 24 hours of finding out what this bus driver did to this little boy. They waited several days before they told the mother. Other people at UISD need to be fired for not following state law and reporting it to CPS within 24 hours.
