Laredo police officer Abraham Diaz, know as "El Protector" has been cleared of any wrong doing according to his attorney, Geroge Altgelt. On February 20th, officer Diaz was given a 10-day suspension for accusations that Diaz was intocicated while on duty.
Altgelt says the police department did "a poor job" of investigating the claims. Police chief Maldonado says he disagrees and stands by his suspension.
