A church employee has been arrested for allegedly stealing money from parish. Jesus Villa, 44 years of age is now in custody after allegedly stealing thousands of dollars from the San Luis Rey church, $5,500 in fact.
Police say many crimes such as this incident are becoming more common these days due to the poor economic downturn in our community. More thefts are becoming common in retail stores, residents and even schools.
