Running out of cemetary space for dead

There is currently only 900 spaces available in the city cemetery. The city-county government issues committee met to discuss this issue and their options. Officials say only three years remain until the space is all filled up.

The city made a motion to order the county of Webb to adopt a policy to cremate unidentified indigents, which is costly to taxpayers. The city is also looking at several proposed sites.
