Texas Tax Free Weekend Coming Soon

The Texas Sales Tax Holiday weekend is around the corner. The tax free weekend starts between August 21 and the 23.

This year's Texas legislature expanded the number of items you can buy on tax-free weekend.

They include school supplies that cost less than a $100 such as calculators, crayons and notebooks. Classes for both UISD and LISD students begin August 24th.

  1. Great! Time for all the Mexicans to come and leave their path of destruction, trying to take advantage of the tax free weekend.

These people get their "manifiestos" regardless of the time of year that they shop so why do we have to put up with them on the one weekend where we actually get a break?

I'd rather just pay my taxes than have to deal with these people.
