Thousands of Laredo residents were left without water for several hour Saturday morning. The cause was a valve inside the Jefferson Water Treatment Facility that gave out, which is the main source of water. Many restaurants and other business closed for several hours.
City officials say old pipes were the reason for this cause and will soon repair and install new pipes.
