BREAKING: Possible Zeta infiltration in Laredo police department

What might be a huge blow to the Laredo Police Department, the FBI is currently investigating a possible Zeta infiltration in the Laredo police force.

This is a developing case that is raising concerns about the influence of the Zetas drug cartel in south Texas. Currently two police officers are being investigated for beling involved in drug smuggling, with sources saying many others are to follow.

According to a San Antonio news organization, The two patrol officers remain on the force, but for now they have been assigned to desk jobs.

The officers in question have been on the force for less than five years. "When you get involved in this type of activity, especially when you deal with the cartels, there are only two things that will happen. One, if you're lucky you go to jail, if not, you end up in a coffin," said Ted Garcia of the Webb County Sheriff's Department.

Local news organizations have been tight liped about this story. Several weeks ago a local news cast made public the names of those officers in question. No other update as of press time have any local news organization been made.
