Laredo Independent School District attendance officer has been arrested and terminated, Santa Maria Elementary principal Nora Santos has been places on administrative leave.
This is due to the fact of failing to report neglect and abandonment of four children in September. One child being, Katherine Cardenas, who was found dead at her home.
