Belmares will officially announce run for Mayor

Distrcit six Councilman Gene Belmares will make his announcement for Mayor official this Friday. The announcement will take place at LIFE downs with a kick off celebration starting at 6 PM. Belmares is currently the only self proclaimed Republican on the city council. As of press time, he will face incumbent Raul Salinas, Councilman Jose Valdez, Jr. and Carlos Blanco, Jr.
