UISD will not close school Friday

Rumors have been circulating that UISD will close school on Friday due to harsh weather. That is not the case according to the district. Although temperatures are extpected to drop in the 30's and a freeze warning will be in effect, the district will keep schools open. District officials will monitor the weather. Meanwhile classes in Nuevo Laredo will be closed on Friday.
