Mayor Raul Salinas announced his re-election bid on Valentine's Day at a special dance party at the Casa Blanca Ballroom.
Salinas said his major accomplishments was able to get almost 90 million dollars in funds for the Camino Cuatro Vientos, they are building seven new inspection modules at the World Trade Bridge, and they've just inaugurated the project to refurbish the Jefferson water treatment plant.
The incumbent will have to face several candidates in the November elections, inculding, Councilman Gene Belamres.
