LAREDO, Texas (AP) - Federal border agents are touting a big score after the seizure of 315 pounds of cocaine at the Laredo border crossing.
A U.S. Customs and Border Protection statement says the cocaine seized Saturday at the Lincoln-Juarez Bridge between Laredo and Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, is worth about $10 million.
The statement says a CBP drug-sniffing dog detected the load of contraband aboard a bus driven by a 36-year-old Mexican national. A search led agents to 123 bundles of cocaine taken from beneath the floor and from the roof of the bus.
Agents say no arrest was made.
