Governor Rick Perry will visit Laredo on Friday afternoon for a law enforcement convention. The event is sponsored by the Laredo Police Officers Association, in which Perry will present awards to several Laredo officers.
The Governor will also sign two bills into law and preside a speech. Mayor Raul G. Salinas will be on hand to visit with Perry along with Police Chief Maldonado and District Attorney Isidro Alaniz.
