Robert L. Harris of Spokane will be the new cheif for the Laredo Sector Border Patrol.
Before being a deputy, Harris served as the Chief of INS’ Intelligence Operations. Mr. Harris has held a variety of positions in the Border Patrol, including Assistant Chief, Supervisory Border Patrol Agent, and Senior Patrol Agent.
He began his service with the Border Patrol in 1984 in the San Diego Border Patrol sector. Harris was bron in Sonora, Texas and is married with two children.
