Let it snow! Council votes to study snow park
All present city council members voted to study the possiblity of a indoor snow park. If the project goes on, the city would have to sepnd over half a million dollars just to study the proposed amusement park. If built, the park would feature skiing and snow boarding. Indoor snow parks provide a climate controlled environment that can be maintained in which snow can be manufactured using a snow cannon, enabling skiing and snowboarding to take place year-round. If the project becomes reality it would the first in Texas and one of the few in the nation.

Does the City Council love to mock constitutes? Honestly, the money being committed just to "study" this thing is insane! A golf course, A baseball multiplex, a water park, and now this? Leave this for the more well off cities/counties!

ReplyDeleteI think the city council is fucking with everyone to see how far they can go. "The LEC is a bust, let's build a baseball park! Hell, let's make it snow in Laredo! Have we looked into a time machine?".
