According to news reports, Laredo Police officers Pedro Martinez and patrol officer O.E. Hale are on suspension as they are being investigated by the FBI. Reports say the suspension has to do with corruption within the department while on duty. The FBI nor the Laredo Police Department will comment on these cases.
Meanwhile, Martinez' father committed suicide Monday night at the Webb County Jail, which is under investigation.
