Two students from United South High School are accusing UISD police officers of improper conduct. The students allege the officers sustained the student in an improper manner by simply "overreacting" and choking them; students say the officers arrested them for not complying for the dress code. One of the students said that they have been harrasing and discriminating against him since the first day of school.
The parents are taking legal action, meanwhile an internal investigation by the district is pending.

The new principal is really strict about the dress code; maybe the faculty has been pushed to hard to get students to comply. The uniforms cause more disruption than they're worth, I hope the district sees how the uniform are negatively impacting the schools.
