Suspect arrested in hit & run with officer

Laredo Police have arrested 65 year-old Carlos Perales who is currently in custody. He is being charged with stop and render aid.

According to police, he hit a LPD officer near the intersection of Loop 20 and Campos Wednesday evening and fled the scene. The police officer is in stable condition.
